2. Small rectangle with "Kate Walz Circa 1905" written on back, with glassine sleeve stamped with "Martin, Grand Rapids, Mich." 4x2.75"
3. Large print with embossed frame and a signature at lower right. Kate is wearing her ever-present glasses, a dark garment with large, decorative buttons and a cross necklace. "Friend Kate Walz, roomed with Olive Ludwig for seven years, app. 1907" is written on back of envelope." Photo is enclosed in brown, textured, heavy-weight paper folder from photo studio Woodard in Grand Rapids.
