A bound volume of records from the Pioneer Society of Allegan County, State of Michigan. Spine of book has leather with gold lettering identifying book as Records from the Pioneer Society of Allegan County from Kalamazoo Publishing Company. Inside are handwritten minutes from 1875 to 1903 of meetings discussing the history of Allegan County leading up to the Centennial and beyond.
The first meeting was held September 8, 1875 at the Allegan County Fairgrounds. Officers were elected and a constitution was written. A list of vice presidents (from each township) is listed on page 2.Collection
