Grand Rapids Press newspaper clipping marked August 26, year unknown, of Joseph Sheridan's Sea Hat, an invention that used a bicycle pump to deliver air to a helmet worn by a person walking across the bottom of a lake. "Submarine Hiker / Youth at Saugatuck Invents Sea Hat with Which He Takes Leisurely Jaunt on Kalamazoo River Bottom."
