Four CDs of files associated with the SDHS Richie project: Two CDs are identical photos from the install. One CD is kiosk programing files by Dick Haight. One is marked "@o5 Alexander SDHC Kiosk Pix"

Context

Richie was an interactive information kiosk at the SCA that allowed visitors to explore local history. Richie was created by SDHS volunteers. James Schmiechen wrote the content, Dick Haight programed the interface, Brian Alexander created the robot-like metal kiosk structure. As the SCA developed, Richie was moved to from the lobby to a back room. Eventually the metal kiosk with display screen and trackball was moved to the SDHC garage on Center St. Richie was reborn as the Supermap.
