Both clippings are accounts of tragedies or crimes that happened in Saugatuck as reported by non-local newspapers. 1. Daily Mining Journal 08/03/1923: "Chicago Man Asks for Examination" 2. Detroit Evening News 08/31/1889: "R.F. Kluman, a Saugatuck saloonkeeper, shot Ed. Wort in the face and neck..."
