Scope and Content

1946 directory of the Saugatuck Douglas Lion's Club. It is made to serve as a souvenir for visitors to the area. it contains a brief history, of the area, history of boat disasters and advertisements of area businesses. (Pages 17-18 include an article written by L. S. Brittain: “Boat Disasters of Saugatuck Shores”.) Also lists the committee members, officers and directors for 1946. The booklet has a blue cover with a gold cord and tassel (missing) and has 56 pages. Printed by the Old News Printery in Holland, MI Pages without advertising were copied here.
