Corlett, Anne, Ballakeyll cottage/Trumbull InnContext
This cottage was built in 1865. According to Anne Corlett in 2024, "We recently found out that the name translates to “farm of the forest” from Manx, the language on the Isle of Man. My grandparents named it that. The name Corlett is from the Isle of Man; our great, great grandfather, Caesar David Corlett, was born there. The original name from when the Trumbles (original owners) owned it was 5 acre farm."Collection
