Mildred Reece Lintner was born in 1908 in Henry County, Indiana. She graduated from Spiceland High School in 1926 and went to Marion, Indiana to attend Marion Business College. In 1925 she started working at the Marion Savings and Loan. That is where she was working when she attended the conference at Camp Gray. She worked there until she married in 1932. She had two children and continued working as a bookkeeper until 1963 when she became the Wabash County Recorder for eight years and then the Wabash County Clerk for four years. She always enjoyed her working years and was very involved in many things in Wabash. She died in 1998.Collection
