Scope and Content

A newspaper article and photos from the Commercial Record, June 4, 1987 about the Saugatuck High School. caption reads: "This school which was opened in 1897, replacing the 1866 school (illustration 32) which burned in 1896. This building got an addition in 1927. When the 1897 part burned in 1950 the 1927 portion received the final addition on the "old School site."
