Fritz [Walz] stayed in the meat business for a few years but around the turn of the century he sold the building and became a resort operator securing buildings for this purpose at the juncture of Holland, Francis and Griffith Streets. He called the new establishment Idlers Rest and operated it for the rest of his life. It was eventually turned into a condominium.
