Photocopy of title page and pages 209-211 from "History of Allegan and Barry Counties, Michigan, with Illustrations and Biographic Sketches of their Prominent Men and Pioneers." 1880, published by D.W. Ensign & Co. The pages cover the history of Ganges from its organization by Dr. Coats in 1847, peach growing and transportation statistics, descriptions of the land, the pioneers, roads, births and deaths, physicians, mills, the Billings family drownings, and township organization. On the last page is descriptions of Plummerville and Pier Cove. A venerable copy of this book is at 2019.35.105
