Scope and Content

Scans of miscellaneous Commercial Record newspaper clippings of jokes, strange happenings, comets, the Coxley Army parade, clubs, romances, vikings, duels, strange sightings, balloon accessions, airplane exhibitions and deliveries. Barbs were traded via satirical poems about the railroads (Applegates Trolley and Folly) and with a Cynthia of Chicago. All clippings that were curious enough for Chris Yoder to save but hard to categorize.
