EaselContext
A striking similarity to the painting "Old Wharf -- Saugatuck" by Cora Bliss Taylor, pictured on the cover of a Taylor Art School brochure [shown below, or at 2021.18.90] plus documentation unearthed by Eric Gollannek of a "Mrs. Murdock" attending the Taylor School in 1935 suggest this painting might have been executed as part of a school outing. Further census research by Eric Gollannek suggests the "Old Fish House" artist may be Lucie B Murdock of Mc. Pherson Avenue in St. Louis, Missouri.Collection
