Low, solid wood rocking chair with yellow, pre-woven cane webbing seat and a urn detail on back and ornamental details as was fashionable in the Victorian period. This style of chair is sometimes called a sewing rocker. The small, tucked-away arms suggest this was a woman's chair. Turned legs and cross bars. Handle on top of chair back, above Maltese cross.
