Photographic copy of a torn historic photo. The black-and-white original image depicts a toddler-age boy holding a ball as he sits on the sands of Oval Beach. In the background two people are coming down a beach-access staircase and two 1940s-style cars are parked at the lot. Written in ink on the back of the print is the contact information for Kevin Reynolds and "circa 1942". The print was brought into the SD History Museum in May 2023 by Mr. Reynolds who reported that he is the toddler in the photo.
