This is a woodblock print of a bird in flight by the artist Margo Hoff. This print is an original proof of the design, labeled in the bottom center. A proof means that this is not the final iteration of the piece, but one to see how the print is progressing and experiment with ways to present the final work. The red color of this piece contributes to its name, as the artist deems the time sunset. Hoff uses both red ink and red paper, which desaturates the image of the bird.Artwork Details
