Context

"In 1873 two brothers, Daniel and Thomas Falconer, settled in Saugatuck Township, in Allegan County, Michigan, along with their wives, their younger children, and their widowed mother, Ann (McGlashan) Falconer. This is the story of these Falconer families and their kin who made their homes in the Saugatuck area in the 1870s through the 1920s1. There were other families named Falconer in the area, including a John Falconer, who obtained a 320 acre federal land grant in neighbouring Barry County in 1839, but no relationship has yet been established with those other Falconers."
