More information may be in the 2001 SDHS book "Off the Record" Kit's notes: "003 Radar, view from Baldhead – radar installed in 1956 – part of Aircraft Control and Warning system, Saugatuck Gap Giller Annex PIN 5521. Men stationed there for about 8 years. Dome installed in 1964. Deactivated in 1968. Closeup"
