A one page letter, dated 3/22/1913, letting Mr. George B. Tisdale of Douglas, Mich know that he has been accepted to be a second mate on the Ship, Lagonda, laying at Schenks Coal Dock South Brance of the Chicago River. Second Mate's wages were $90 a month.
