Men and a child pose for a photo outside the Michigan Railway Station [a.k.a. the Interurban] on a snowy, winter day. Writing on the print indicates that Marv. Thompson and B. Cartright are the men holding shovels. A cart is loaded with newspapers, sacks, and a box from the Harold Bertsch Shoe Co. of Grand Rapids.
This may be the Interurban station that had a turn-around loop in front of the Hotel Butler.
A sign on the building reads "American Railway Express"
Jack Sheridan dates this photo as circa 1920s.Photograph Details
