The painting was acquired from the Kit and Art Lane estate. The Quonset hut once was part of their home property at 41 N. Spring St. The land parcel was sold in 1997. In 2006, the hut demolished by its owner, Mark Neidlinger, and replaced with a contemporary structure of his design.Collection
