"The History of Koning Hardware Co. by Frederik H. Geerdink," was brought by Mr. Faasen to the Archive for photocopying and placement in the properties files.
On 29 Feb 2024, Mr. Faasen also gave a draft copy of his "A Brief History of the Old Hardware Building" publication to the Archives. The richly-illustrated 53-page book sums up Mr. Faasen's on-going research and includes photos and descriptions of the many people and businesses that have occupied the building.Context
After many years of running a hardware store in the Koning building, Ron and Bonnie Wilkins sold the property in 2022. The new owners engaged Mr. Faasen to research and write the building's history.Collection
