Description

Ten envelopes of large format 4.5x3.5 inch or slightly smaller negatives assumed to be from the Koning family. Seven envelopes advertise "You take 'em - We make 'em" Ping Pong Portraits from the Simonson Studio. A Simonson Envelope 6310: Niagara Falls includes a few printed photos. Two negative show people posing by the falls, no prints B Simonson Envelope Richards: Women with cloche hats posed before Beau-arts buildings or a colonial house, parade photo that looks like a roaster, man in suit and paperboy-style cap, holding cat, group of men in suits, a ship named "Denmark" and people on the ship's deck. C Simonson Envelope: prints of pair of children (almost black), boy dressed as Uncle Sam, children in costumes, sailor suits, adults in swimsuits on beach with palm tree, sea plane, trees decked with Spanish moss, Koning house, tower D Simonson Envelope: More negatives (and prints!) of the (adorable) Koning Hardware roadster parade float E Simonson Envelope: Koning house with arched entry cover F Simonson Envelope: People posing by dramatic rocks, a rotunda. A few all-black negative. G Simonson Envelope: One negative of a woman with a dark skirt, legs crossed, sitting on the steps in front of a house. H Beige Envelope: Family posing by the Koning house, by a greenhouse, in a horse-drawn cart, under a tree, outside a door, by a cottage I Kodak Yellow Envelope: the Koning House, the hardware store (may be photograph of historic photographs including inside and a very early shot), at a memorial guided by soldiers (possibly tomb of the unknown), family shots, woman in jodhpurs, dog on steps, garden gathering J White Ira Koning Envelope: Children in costumes, winter clothing, on swing, baby, family groups, mother and child on front steps, group in dingy, infant with 1910 pillow in background, Washington Memorial in DC.
