Attended grammar school in South Haven, 1901 SHS graduate, attended Davenport Business College. Married in 1910 to Ira Koning. Operated Koning & Son hardware with her spouse Ira and was an active member of the First Congregational Church, Woman's Club and Order of the Eastern Star.
