Description

Color photographic print of the Keewatin, showing the stern and port size as it is tied up at the Red Dock. The tug Reiss, the City of Douglas carter boat and another smaller craft are tied up nearby. The sky is shrouded in a grey mist. Photo was double matted and enclosed in a wood frame when purchased. In July 2024, it was taken out of the frame and placed in the Keewatin box.

2023 auction description: Photograph Keewatin (rear view with tugs), double mat. Approx. 12.5"x15.5" OA; 7 1/2"x 9 1/4" SS. Piece has not been removed from frame for examination. Part of a Saugatuck/Douglas Art Collection.
