Description

Faded, ghostly photo of a dark-haired woman with a lacy shawl and headscarf. Her deep-set eyes are gazing directly at the lens. The photos is attached to a heavy-weight card that has the word "Brand" on the lower corner in a florid script. The reverse side if the card is pre-printed with the text: "Brand" "210 & 212 Wabash Avenue" "Portraits." "Established 1858." "Chicago." The identity of the sitter is unknown.
