Flat, plywood painted wood sign in a crest shape with an approximately 32-inch metal chain for hanging. The sign's central medallion is painted beige with "Gallery Entrance" in a Gothic/Blackletter script with the G and E painted red.

Context

The Chalet was an important early artist-run gallery on Pleasant Street in Saugatuck.
