Notes: Peggy Boyce was raised in an artistic family; her grandmother was an early member of the Saugatuck Art Association, and her mother studied at Ox-Bow. When her eight children were all in school, Boyce returned to Grand Valley State University to obtain a teaching certificate. She taught art at West Ottawa High School in Holland, 1973 - 1994. In addition to painting, Peggy works with paper making, weaving and jewelry design.
