Michael L. (Mike) Mason 1895 - ? Cat Lost in the Woods 1952 | lithograph Notes: Mike Mason was active/lived in Illinois and was a noted painter and lithographer. He taught at the Ox-Bow Summer School of Painting in the 1950s. This almost decorative image, a great example of the abstraction so commonly explored in the middle of the 20th Century, uses colors very common in the period. It is full of movement and exuberance!
