The heavy-duty fob is oval shaped and imprinted with the text: Please Return Postage Guaranteed Saugatuck Lodges Box 279 Saugatuck, MI. 49453. Back of fob has manufacture's imprint, W.W. Wilcox Mfg. Co. Chicago. Metal key imprinted with National Key RU4/Cole National U.S.A.

Saugatuck Lodges Motel was on the Blue Star Highway. It had a reputation for being being gay friendly and offering "Weed Patch Parties" in a stand of white pines behind the lodge.
According to Cynthia Sorensen, the Saugatuck Lodges was located at 3291 Blue Star Hwy, Saugatuck, MI 49453. The site was "Bloomin' on the Blue Star" a garden center and as of 2022 is Ivy House Event Center.Collection
