The Big Pavilion
1952 | marker on paper
Notes: Wally was known as Muskegon's premier artist. He also spent some time in the Saugatuck area sketching the "sights". Here, he captures the iconic Big Pavilion from the west shore of the Kalamazoo River. In the foreground we see the back of a hotel sign. In this image, one can see the movie theater which was attached to the south end of the building.
