Context

The children in the photo are likely Chris Cain, Julia (Cain) Herrick, Ceci Cain and Mary Grace Cain. In the early 1980s, the gallery moved to 322 Butler Street. The back of the print has calculation used to reproduce it in the newspaper and the following typed text "CAIN GALLERY, Douglas, Michigan, 49406, (616) 857-4353"
