Wooden directional sign, cut into the shape of an arrow, painted white with hand-lettered black text. The sign is two-sided and has three holes for hanging. The sign was rescued by Peter Elliot.Context
According to the donor, the sign was from the 1950s Oval Beach House that was demolished around 1986 after beach erosion undermined the building and the parking lot nearby. High Lake Michigan water levels washed out many building foundations in the mid 1980s.Collection
