"The Crow's Nest cottage was built by [Ox-Bow] students in the early 1930's, for a studio, some say love nest, for Thomas Tallmadge. The logs were hauled up the front face of the dune from Kelly's Beach. Tallmadge and other were known to shoot crows out of the windows.
