PDFs of Saugatuck-Douglas Historical Society newsletter that were mailed to the membership from September 1987 to December 1991. After March 1989 the newsletter was usually multiple pages. Often newspaper clippings of events are included.

Context

Insights into issues of interest to the new society including the proposal to build a McDonalds restaurant downtown and renovate the Saugatuck Village hall building, socializing, building membership and board business. Dec. 1989 and Sept. 1991 newsletters included financial accounting. In April 1990, changes to bylaws were proposed.
