Description

Big Pavilion investor Fred Limouze (far left, wearing suit) and "Master of Ceremonies" Andy Crawford (far right, wearing uniform jacket with decorative braiding on the sleeves) stand flanking a nine-man musical band arrayed on the dance floor's band stand. The stage is decorated with rococo plaster reliefs, electric lightbulbs and geranium flowers and foliage. The band or orchestra members are wearing light-colored shirts and trousers with caps and ties. Some are seated on wire ice-cream parlor chairs and have music stands with electric lights. They hold their instruments that include two horns, a trombone, an upright base, cello, drums [?]. two violins and piano. Original accession number is 89-1-20.
