Two Cyko-brand real photo postcards of groups of young adults posing at Bird's Bath House that was also called Bird's Beach House.
A. A mixed group of men and women dressed in street clothing and sitting on the sand in front of the beach house. Anna Maynard and a woman with a dark, cylindrical hat appear to be a generation older than the other sitters. Notes on the postcard and on an accompanying index card identifies some of the sitters as Bob Moore, Bill Menard, Emily (Thorpe) Moore [wearing hat adorned with flowers], Anna Menard, Margaret Menard, Helen Thorpe, and George Menard [wearing fez].
B. Five young men in swimming attire are sitting under a small tree and goofing for the camera. The beach house is behind the group to the left. A note written on the front of the card reads "Old bathing beach about 190?" [The final number in the year is obscured by thumbtack rust].
Original accession number is 89-1-17.Photograph Details
