Russell son of Herman and Lillian (Sterzing) Frehse Obituary from the Jan 21, 1976 Holland Sentinel, Michigan Douglas, Michigan, Russell R. Freshe, 83, of Saugatuck, died Tuesday in Community Hospital where he had been a patient for two days. Born in Michigan City, Indiana, he moved to Saugatuck as a child and was a member of the Saugatuck High School Class of 1910. Following which he moved to Chicago and worked until his retirement as a real estate and insurance broker. Following retirement, he returned to Saugatuck where he lived for the past 21 years. He was a member of First Congregational Church, Saugatuck: a life member of Saugatuck Lodge 328 F and A.M. the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rites, the Order of the Eastern Star and of Saladin Temple, A.A.O.N.M.S. Grand Rapids; Surviving are his wife Hazel: two sons, Charles R. of South Holland, Illinois and William J. of Park Forest, Illinois, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Masonic services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thrusday at the Dykstra Sugatuck Chapel with burial in Riverside Cemetery, in Saugatuck Michigan. Friends may meet the family from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Chapel Russells brother Charles is buried in Aisne-Marne American Cemetery Belleau, Lorraine Region, France Find-A- Grave 55947781
