Notes: Philip Bornarth is best known for his paintings. He was also a competent printmaker, a skill he taught at the Ox-Bow Summer School of Art in Saugatuck, Michigan.
This sketch, which looks much like a print, is typical of the modernist approach to art typical of the 1950s.
