Context

History of the school that once stood at the SE corner of Blue Star Highway and 126th Avenue that includes Mr. Weed's personal remembrances of starting school in 1912, the responsibilities of the young teachers, the daily routines, games played in the schoolyard, holiday decorating and traditions, how to signal for restroom breaks, heating the building, pumping water, Dale Shannon bringing his gun to school, assemblies and programs, punishment and discipline, Bob Hoy the local warden, and the finale of Mt. Baldhead school picnic in May.
