Description

First Place Ribbon from the 1976 Saugatuck Douglas Bicentennial Fair. The purple ribbon is made of satin-like synthetic fabric with gold printing. The ribbon is finished on its long edges, pinked (cut with pinking shears) on the top edge and have a deep notch cut in the bottom edge. Why the ribbon was awarded is unknown.
