Collection of electronic devices taped or strapped to a white foam-cor board with paper labels. The board was assembled by Bob Sapita
The first items are two vacuum tubes that were the current technology in 1956 when Mr. Sapita was in 8th grade.
The next item is a transistor that was in use in 1960 when Mr. Sapita was in 12th grade.
Next came the integrated circuit that was in use in 1964 when Mr. Sapita was a senior in college.
When Mr. Sapita retired in 2002, large scale integrated circuit chips had transformed the world.
A flash memory chip is also included in the collection. It is taped to a separate piece of paper. On the back of the board is note with the dates.Context
