The poster was signed by Steve Rosselet with the year 1983 and numbered 73/100.Context
The poster is referencing the so-called nude beach that was popular with LGBTQ+ and other summer visitors. The beach was semi-secluded and a popular spot to meet, hang out or rest in the sun. The poster is referring to the pleasures of a day spent on the beach, that was often followed by a night of dancing and socializing at the Douglas Dunes Resort. The beach was north of Oval Beach and is now part of the Saugatuck Harbor Natural Area.Collection
