Description

Hardbound book with blue textured covered and gold-foil embossed image of a chain-mail helmed knight or warrior raising a sword. The title "The Arrow" and 1949 are also embossed in gold foil. The back and spine of the cover are blank. Inside, 48 pages with sponsorship advertising filling the last 16 pages. After the dedication to school superintendent L.H. Waugh, the book includes group photos of the student council, the Arrow staff and faculty. The next pages include individual photos of the high school senior, junior, sophomore and freshman classes; group photos of the 7th-8th graders, basketball teams, glee club, cheerleaders. Other clubs listed by name along with senior prophecy and poems. The pre-printed interior pages have a circus theme.

Context

The yearbook belonged to Sandra (Finch) Edson, who was a 9th grader in the 1948-49 school year.
