Photo and high resolution scan of a real photo postcard that depicts the west side of Dorr Felt's mansion at Shore Acres Farm. Unmailed. Back of card has message "Where Bonnie-Jean lived. Her folks lived at Wolf Lake."
The card shows a large, brick residence with three dormers and three chimneys surrounded by rolling, grassy hills and young trees. One of Mr. Felt's vertical access windmill is visible to the far right, just above the trees. The patent documents for this mill are included in this entry.
Numbers at the bottom of the card may be "1?24" but construction on the mansion is believed to have begun in 1925 and concluded in 1928.Photograph Details
