Description

Two men, armed with ax and pole, and a possibly a tugboat, work in free a gill net fishing boat stuck in ice on a winter day. The photo has been dated as from 1933 or 1935. This image was featured as History Mystery #117 with the test: This fish tug was built in Saugatuck by Captain William Wilson in 1909. The photograph was taken in South Haven.
