Banner or scroll-shaped sign with green background and white script letters reading "The Old School." The white paint is flaking off.

Context

This sign that hung over the front door of the "The Old School" apartment building when it was operated by Nancy Budd. Later, when the building was repurposed as the Saugatuck-Douglas History Center, the sign remained until it was taken down in 2023.
