Dick Newnham and Harold DavisEntry/Object ID
1989.01.59Description
Three Cyko-brand real photo postcards depicting two friends when they were young men.
Harold Davis (at left) and Dick Newham sitting on a rustic bench with a painted, studio backdrop. They are dressed casually, in shirts with rolled up sleeves. Dick has his arm around David's shoulders and they are holding hands and smiling in what appears to be a warm, friendly and candid moment, 5x3.25"
Two slightly different images of Newnham and Davis sitting in a 4-wheeled carriage drawn by two horses. Newnham is holding the whip, Davis is holding the reins. One of the photos has 1907 written on the bottom of the print which would make the boys 12 years old. One image is a complete postcard sized 3.5x5.5", the other image has been trimmed to 3.75" wide.Photograph Details
