Color photocopy of tri-fold brochure to explain and raise funds for the trail by selling commemorative bricks, markers, trees, bike racks, benches, t-shirts.

Context

In 2013, Ryan Kilpatrick, Douglas director of community development, launched a drive to create a 2-mile pedestrian and bicycle trail (sidewalk) that now runs from Lakeshore Drive to Wade's Bayou. The trail was the result of years of negotiation between the City of Douglas, the Allegan Drain Commissioner, and the Westshore development. Sally Winthers designed the gull/dune and heron/grasses markers, brochure and other graphics.
