As part of the opening party for the 2006 SDHS museum exhibit "Raising the Roof, Second Story" members were invited to view the newly-restored Francis Lifeboat. SDHC president Dottie Lyon spoke about the history of the boat [starting at minute five] and awarded a certificate of appreciation to project leader Dick Lyons. Dick Lyons spoke about the boat, its restoration and the team that included Al Lyon, Dean Bachelor, Dave Anderson, RJ Peterson and others.Collection
